Soi 6

Soi 6 is a short street between Beach Road and Second Road in north Pattaya lined end to end with around a hundred small open-fronted bars. It runs from early afternoon, beers are $2.50–3.50 (฿80–120), ladies’ drinks $4.50–6 (฿150–200), and it is busiest 15:00–22:00. It is the least subtle street in Thailand, and the easiest place to understand how everything works.

Soi Buakhao is the long inland road running north–south through central Pattaya, parallel to Second Road, lined with beer-bar complexes (Tree Town, Myth Night, Soi Chaiyapoon, Soi Lengkee), cheap hotels, restaurants and massage shops. Beer is $2–3 (฿60–100), ladies’ drinks $4–6 (฿130–200), there is no cover, and it runs from mid-afternoon to around 02:00. It is the value base for a first trip and the heart of expat Pattaya.

Perimeter Road, officially Don Juico Avenue, runs along the Clark Freeport fence from the west end of Fields Avenue to Friendship Highway. It is the cheaper, older-crowd alternative to Walking Street: beer bars and a few go-go rooms in clusters over about 1.2 miles (2 km), many open from lunchtime. Beer $1.50–2.50 (₱80–150), ladies’ drinks $2.50–5 (₱140–300) as of August 2026. Trike between clusters after dark.

Soi 7 and Soi 8 are two short parallel streets between Beach Road and Second Road in north-central Pattaya, filled with open-air beer-bar complexes, pool tables and live-music bars. Beer is $2.50–3.50 (฿80–120), ladies’ drinks $4.50–6 (฿150–200), no cover, busiest 19:00–midnight. Smaller than before the pandemic but still trading, and the easiest beer-bar evening near the beach.
