ABC Hotel is the tower on Fields Avenue that most first-timers end up photographing from the back of a trike — the one with the rooftop pool and bar. It sits on the Malabañas stretch of the avenue, about a ten-minute walk (or a two-minute trike) from the Walking Street arch: close enough to walk home, far enough that you cannot hear the strip from your pillow. If you have the budget, it is where we would put a first-timer.

Rooms are the reason people book it. Even the entry-level rooms are big by Angeles standards, and the suites are enormous — jacuzzi tubs, sofas, proper desks, beds you could lose a weekend in. Housekeeping gets consistently good marks in 2025–26 reviews, and the staff — front desk, bellboys, the lot — get named and thanked more often than at any other hotel in town, which tells you something.

The rooftop is the social part: a pool that wraps around the bar, sunset views toward Clark, DJs and themed parties some nights, and a crowd that is mostly Western men comparing notes on the night before. Breakfast is a proper buffet with eggs cooked to order, which you will want after a Walking Street session. There is a free shuttle down to the strip in the evenings, or just walk it — Fields Avenue is lit and busy the whole way.

Guest policy is the other reason people book it. As of August 2026 the ABC is widely reported as fully guest-friendly: your visitor shows photo ID at the desk, gets registered, and there is no joiner fee — you pay for the room, not the company. The standard Angeles rule applies: valid ID for anyone coming up, no exceptions, and the desk will hold the line on that. Confirm at check-in; see how guest-friendly works.

Who it suits: the man who wants a comfortable base with proper hotel polish — gym, elevators that work, decent wifi — without going all the way out to a Clark resort. Noise is low; the tower is set back from the road and the party is on the roof, not in the corridors. Booking-site rates start around $80–100 (₱4,500–5,500) a night in low season, more for the suites and over Christmas and Balloon Fiesta week. Compare it with the rest of our picks on the Angeles City hotels page.

ABC Hotel: quick answers

Is ABC Hotel guest-friendly?

+
Yes, as reported by guests and listings as of August 2026: registered visitors with valid photo ID are welcome and there is no joiner fee. Confirm the current policy at check-in — Angeles front desks can change their minds.

How far is ABC Hotel from Walking Street?

+
About a ten-minute walk along Fields Avenue, or two minutes by trike for $1 (₱50). The hotel also runs a free shuttle to the strip in the evenings, handy on the way out and less necessary on the way back.

How much does ABC Hotel cost per night?

+
Booking sites showed low-season rates from roughly $80–100 (₱4,500–5,500) a night for a standard room in August 2026, with suites well above that. Expect higher rates over Christmas, New Year and the February Balloon Fiesta.
