Duangjitt Resort & Spa is the piece of Patong that does not look like Patong: 36 acres of flowering gardens and mature trees in the middle of the town, 50 metres from Patong Beach and 100 metres from the Central Patong shopping centre, with Bangla Road about six minutes away on foot. In a resort strip that is mostly concrete stacked to the hillside, that much green at that address is genuinely unusual.
Rooms come in eight categories — Deluxe Garden Wing, Premier Deluxe, Grand Deluxe, Junior Suite and duplex Family Suites among them — spread through the grounds rather than piled in a tower, which is what keeps the place quiet given how central it is. There are pools, a spa, the Banburee restaurant with a daily buffet, a convention hall and free wifi throughout.
It is a family and couples resort rather than a bar-scene hotel, and you should know that before you book. The crowd is Russian, European and Asian holidaymakers, the atmosphere is calm, and the walk back from Bangla at two in the morning is short but the arrival is decidedly not anonymous.
On the visitor question: the resort does not publish a policy and we could not verify one as of August 2026, so we list it as ask and mean it. Phuket is the strictest destination in this guide — many Patong resorts do not admit unregistered visitors to a room at all, and among those that do an extra-person charge is common and frequently official. Get the answer in writing before you pay, and read how guest-friendly works.
Rates sit in the upper-mid Patong band; a three- to four-star Patong room ran roughly $50–110 (฿1,600–3,600) a night as of August 2026, and a garden resort like this one sits at or above the top of that, halving in the May–October monsoon. See the rest of our picks on the Phuket hotels page.
